Your wealth corner is the most powerful zone in your home for activating abundance, prosperity, and financial flow, but only if it’s set up intentionally. After working with clients on hundreds of wealth corners, I’ve found that what you place there matters almost as much as where.
This guide is my curated list of the items I actually recommend to clients and use in my own home: plants that thrive in low light, decor that activates wood and water energy, and abundance symbols that feel meaningful rather than kitschy. Every item is renter-friendly, available online, and chosen because it works not because it’s trendy.

Living plants are the single most powerful addition to your wealth corner. They represent growth, life force, and upward movement. This is exactly the energy you want flowing through your finances.
1. Money Tree (Pachira Aquatica)
The classic. Its braided trunk is said to “trap” wealth, and its five-pointed leaves represent the five elements working in harmony. Easy to care for, thrives in indirect light, and forgiving if you forget to water it.
2. Jade Plant (Crassula Ovata)
Round, plump leaves resembling jade coins, which makes it a literal symbol of wealth. Drought-tolerant, long-lived, and grows beautifully into a small tree over time. Perfect for renters who want a low-maintenance abundance plant.
3. Lucky Bamboo
The lucky bamboo, especially in a grouping of three stalks (representing happiness, long life, and wealth) is a true and tride ageless Feng Shui approved plant.
4. Pilea (Chinese Money Plant)
Coin-shaped leaves on slender stems make this one a wealth corner favorite. Modern, sculptural, and a beautiful conversation piece.
Planters & Pots That Hold Abundance Energy
The pot matters too. Choose materials that complement wealth like ceramic, terracotta, or metal, and avoid plastic for your wealth corner plants when possible.
5. Terracotta planter
Earth element grounding for your wealth plant. Warm, textured, and naturally beautiful. Ignore the catus! Catus are not in general not considered good feng shui.
6. Ceramic planter in deep green or gold
Green and gold are the wealth corner’s signature colors. A planter in one of these tones doubles as a feng shui activation.
Abundance Symbols & Personal Wealth Objects
These are the items that make the wealth corner yours. The most powerful symbol isn’t generic, it’s whatever genuinely makes you feel abundant.
7. Citrine crystal or crystals symbolizing wealth
Citrine is the “merchant’s stone” traditionally believed to attract prosperity and clear stagnant financial energy. A small cluster on a shelf or under a lamp works beautifully.
8. Brass bowl or vessel
Metal element activates wealth flow, and a beautiful brass bowl can hold coins, citrine, or personal abundance symbols. Functional and symbolic.
9. Abundance artwork
Art that represents your next level of wealth or a calm, abundant scene, a meaningful word, or an image that reminds you of the life you’re building. Avoid empty fields or scarcity imagery.
Lighting — The Overlooked Activator
A dark wealth corner is a sleeping wealth corner. Light it up and you wake the energy.
10. Warm-toned table lamp
A soft, warm lamp in your wealth corner instantly activates the space. Look for amber or gold-toned bases for added wealth energy.
11. Salt lamp (Himalayan)
The warm pink glow is calming and grounding, and the salt is believed to clear stagnant energy. A favorite for clients who want a softer activation.
Water Element — For Advanced Activation
Water in the wealth corner represents flowing abundance, but it has to be moving, clean water, not stagnant. Use carefully.
12. Small tabletop fountain
Moving water is one of the most powerful wealth activators in classical feng shui. Place it so water flows toward the room (not away from it).
13. Mirror (used strategically)
A mirror in the wealth corner can “double” the energy. Important: it should reflect something beautiful (a plant, the lamp), not a door or clutter. You could even use it as a plate underneath your other wealth activating items.
You don’t need every item on this list. Start with one healthy plant, good lighting, and one personal abundance symbol. With that you’ve activated your wealth corner more powerfully than 90% of homes.
Remember: the products do the structural work, but intention is what activates them. Each time you add something to your wealth corner, stand there for a moment and name what you’re inviting in.
